Even as an adult, Melissa's dark past still doesn't go away. sometimes she got nightmares about how Tommy Thunder brutally beat up Melissa very senselessly after she witnessed Sonic getting raped in order to silence her and not let everyone know about his true nature. When Melissa has nightmares about it, Monica comforted Melissa and tried to calm down. Even though she comforted her, Monica still remembered seing Melissa in a coma and severly injured and it was a terrible and heartbreaking sight.
