Ok, this was a pure spur of the moment drawing, I sat down with a blank paper and no ideas and just drew to see where it'd go from there and well, it went squirrel boy =)
I actually liked the character at once and thus, instead of letting it be just a random character, named him and thought of some character info.
This is Skvirrl, creative I know, he's an anthropomorphic red squirrel.
He's 8.5 inches tall and weighs about 9 oz.
He's a freak of nature in the way that he was born from a couple of regular non-anthropomorphic squirrels. As such he soon left the life in the forest in search for a place where he'd fit in. So far he hasn't found such a place.
During a run through a house he found a jacket and a scarf, made for dolls, which he borrowed indefinitely.
He's very energetic and loves doing crazy things like death defying jumps from trees and buildings, but he's quite agile and just as athletic as a regular squirrel so it's really no sweat for him.
So yeah, that's what I got on him now. He might get a revised background at some point as well as a revised design as this one was so out of the blue =) He's the smallest character I've ever designed but the thought of him being several feet didn't sound nearly as "Awwww...." as him being tiny =D
His right arm is a bit off in this sketch but, well... it's just a sketch. Also, he's not "up yours"-ing you it's just a victory sign seen from behind =P
