I was practicing inking and coloring, and then liked it enough that I added a nice background. I experimented and assembled the whole thing using textures, tile renderings, light effects, glow effects, transparencies, blurs, masks,the mosaic effect, and created a new paint brush to make the magic wand sparklies. All of this can be found in various tutorials on the net.

Info: Anita has the ability to cast magical spells, conjure strange and bizzare creatures, and dabbles in enchanted artifacts, some she finds and others she creates. She can cast spells, her favorite being fire based attacks. Sometimes she uses a wand but mainly she channels the spells through her hands, using a combination of gesturing and her voice.

Her main duties are as keeper of the magic portal. She usually hangs around it, monitoring people who use the portal to head out and return to the magical city where she lives. A student who learns under a powerful sorceress known simply as Morgana, she tends to hang out and read up on spell books and practice her incantations. When she gets terribly bored or stressed, she has been known to venture through the magic portal herself to unwind, or what she calls, 'practicing'.
