"I have two swords; my wings, four daggers; my teeth, twenty knives; my claws and a nuclear warhead capable of destroying entire galaxies; my body. Sure, I may not need other weapons. I've killed hundreds of thousands, bare handed. I could self detonate at any time and wipe out the Milkyway Galaxy. I would grow a new body because my brainstem is the indestructible foundation of my biology. All in all, I'd rather take up a firearm and fight alongside like-minded individuals. War brings about friendship, family and peace. Without war, there is no peace. Total annihilation doesn't bring about peace, it brings about extinction. That much loss of life, I reserve for those Earths upon which all of humanity is corrupt. I've come to this dimension because it is heading in the same direction as other corrupt worlds. Instead of waiting for you humans to figure it out, I've decided to take a hands-on approach and mitigate the corruption to the best of my abilities. If that means that others need to die, then die they will."
The reporter looked at Neal with malice and hatred. "So you've come to kill us all?"
"If I came to do that, then everyone would be dead now. I wouldn't wait. I wouldn't hesitate for a microsecond. I would freeze time and kill everyone. Everyone would fall dead as soon as I resumed time. One thing that every single dimension I went to, good or bad, had in common is Christianity. The bad dimensions had corrupted even that and a few were destroyed upon my arrival. I didn't even need to be there. On the other hand, the most peaceful dimension I've been to. Adam and Eve never ate the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. They were still alive and not aging everyone was oblivious to evil because it didn't exist. Satan was unsuccessful at tempting Eve and he was cast out of the garden of Eden when she called upon God. That is the only dimension that I have ever been forced out of."
"Why were you forced out if you're so holy?" The reporter sneered.
"I was born human. In a dimension that wasn't quite corrupt, but wasn't pure either. I've seen evil, I came from an Adam that had eaten the forbidden fruit. Aside from that, I'm no longer human. I have to forge a life in which I am alone as the only one of my kind. I live knowing that, as I am now, I am not."
"What do you mean?"
"I was human. I am still Christian. I will die a Christian, but I don't think I will ever be counted amongst the flock. The only non-humans in the Bible are angels, spirits and one man punished by God and turned into a beast of the fields. I'll never give up hope, but the odds are stacked against me."
"Well, then why don't you convert to Islam, or some other religion?" The reporter asked.
Neal thrust his right hand through the man's shoulder and severed the ligaments, tendons and muscles holding his arm in place. Withdrawing his hand, he said.
"That is a warning. Do not ever suggest such a stupid thing to someone who could just as easily have shredded your heart."
The reporter wondered why he felt no pain, despite his arm hanging limp and permanently useless.
