Third illustration of the new "cute" series dedicated to the amphibians! This colorful baby is a Dendrobates tinctorius "azureus", the Blue poison dart frog. Its scientific name comes from its azure (blue) color. While frequently considered a valid species in the past (you may have heard of this species just as "Dendrobates azureus"), recent authorities treat it as a variant of D. tinctorius.
