Yep, it's official - I absolutely hate those three brats.

For me my feelings are a bit more complicated. I think it’s wrong to flat out ignore that those 3 are trying to do a good deed and trying to help guide him into exploring options he hadn’t considered. But it’s also very clear from the direction of this comic that that isn’t his actual identity. It’s not like those 3 we’re trying to gain anything or take advantage of him. But much like real life they are a bunch of idiots getting involved in something they have no business getting involved in without knowing enough information to do anything but cause harm.

Tbh it is to ignore those three because they actually don't want to help. It's clearly as water those three just want another "trap" fighter to idol and fap to it; people seems to forget that it's a common practice in the tournament.

This trio of spiteful, aggressive little 'fans' are gaslighting here. Tini was picked on for years for being a 'girl' and fought for years to disprove that, but it's still a sore subject as is shown with his fight against Garchomp.

Ever since that psychic scandal, Tini's clearly had something going on in his mind. Whether he's unsure about his own strength, or being placed in that heavily submissive position made him start considering the other side, or if Baheeyem put something in his mind that's been a ticking time bomb.

We know for a fact that Zen has been nothing but supportive for Tini - calming his rage, being 'Maggie' to help Tini deal with feelings of loneliness, and has been far more supportive ever since the Baheeyem incident. Despite that, these crazies call him 'hateful' for trying to keep Tini from being harassed.

These 'fans' just want another trap to idolize and fulfill their own perversions. Tini's mind is in a vulnerable place right now and these three are clearly trying to manipulate him towards their own personal fantasies.

Here's a guess: the psychic is connected to these "fans" and is the one to have seeded the doubt to begin.

They say they are inclusive, but they reject people.
Oh well, the hypocrisy.

I’m gonna make a prediction that is possibly a MASSIVE spoiler.

I doubt it, since Zen actually saw the fight as it was happening.
Kellyn

Did he? It included him before the fight and after but at no point during did he ever get a panel. He was also at the arena after the fight to ask what happened so he was there.

Even so, I doubt he'd have gotten the same degree of psychic ability that a Bayeehem would have. We'll see what happens in the end.

I'm still assuming this isn't going to be some terfy talking point in disguise, I've seen an artist here do that before. I'll hang on for now.

There are going to be characters present in this comic that do not have the same opinion as the three fans here. Despite Zen having the power of illusion, he is transparent about his opinions and feelings. There is no disguising how Zen feels. If it comes off as 'terfy', feel free to call Zen a terf. There are going to be characters present that have the same opinion as the three fans here, if I recall correctly. They aren't as active in the comic because they're more an online presence than one that can impact TiNi's life in person like these three can. There will almost always be opposing forces in my comics. Divine Extinction: Samea wanting to preserve things the way they are vs. Malaku wanting to change things. Trust Me + I Trusted You: Fetishists masturbating to illegal content vs. ethics and the impact childhood sex trafficking has on current relationships (including with fetishists). Addiction: Pedophiles' talking points vs. the result/damage of being groomed as a child.

I get where the people who aren't pleased about the story having themes along these lines are coming from, but it's your art and your story, so they can take a back seat on this.

Zen comes across as honest and good, 'terf' or not, and he's by far my favourite character in the comic.

Honestly, the fact that people are so quick to tear the three's hypocritical act apart tells me that you've done a great job of capturing the kinds of people they represent, and you've managed to do so without turning them into complete strawmen, either. Kudos.

But is one of the messages of this comic going to be 'transgender people are delusional' and/or 'people who transition do so because they are tricked/confused into it'?

I know this is fiction so the characters who are in the wrong are going to be exaggerated. But when the characters (including the only trans character so far) who present the idea that TiNi could possibly be trans behave like this (presenting outdated/stereotypical ideas about trans people, motivated only by arousal/kinks to transition or encourage others to do so, rudely talking over people and pushing an identity on someone else)... I do have my concerns that the rest of the comic is going to continue characterizing being trans or supporting transgender people in this same way.

Removing some things from this comment pertaining to other individuals I've talked about. It's not outdated. It's 2021 and there are individuals who act like this, including people who I've interacted with. You yourself fetishize transgenders in your art posts. I don't specifically have a problem with it, as your fetish is your fetish, but you never know what offends someone these days. I will repeat what I told them. You don't speak for all transsexuals, transindividuals. You are not an expert psychologist/psychiatrist. You cannot say they'll experience this or that. You should understand that not all humans will fit inside a certain label perfectly. You appear to be disillusioned by this unrealistic expectation that people are black or white and not a grayscale. There are people like this. To refuse to believe that these sort of individuals are alive and kicking means you reject reality.

Well that umbreon bitch needs a chill pill too. How dare they hate on the only redeeming character!

Guess that Bunnary trap was the only slightly reasonable one.

Don't let him fool you.

All three just want another "trap" fighter to idol and fap to; that's the whole point in the tournament.

Ah. those people. Usually if someone has body dysophoria, they don't need to be carefully guided/badgered into believing it but we will see.

Let’s see, in just a couple pages of having known them, we have:

- Condescending, manipulative tone and aggressive pushing on someone possibly vulnerable and struggling with their identity.
- Extremely hostile reaction to being questioned.  Instant, unconditional dismissal and hateful villainization/contempt of anyone who isn’t immediately on board, without consideration for their intentions or context.  Externalize blame.
- Quick to suggest a retreat to echo chamber environment where their views can’t be tempered by challenge or external perspective.
- Fetishization and romanticizing rather than providing genuine understanding of an individual’s identity or condition.
- Potentially doing harm by working backwards from a **preferred** conclusion instead of forward toward potential truth.

Yeah, we’ve all seen quite a lot of these people in recent years.

ughhh good god. please don't let this go that route. Can't he just be Bi and enjoy a good rutting himself now and then? He was top of his game and things got boring, he is just looking for a change of pace. Not to mention he misses his mate. Thats the issue
