This one... Not going to lie, its premise came from the same area as my Crownless novel did; thought of while playing through Biomutant... A second time >>; So there's going to be a lot of similarities for those who've actually played the game. If you didn't? No worries. There's going to be almost nothing in terms of story that you're missing out on. Just some references to abilities or weapons used, but that's all they are: references.
Aside from that, it's a different story, different background, different characters, and different goals. Just heavily inspired by the game's overall feel and aesthetic. There's going to be violence, some gore (not nearly as much as Crownless), and some... Questionable themes planned. For now, this just kinda serves as a long introduction to the characters (two more so than the third, but).
I'm not sure how long inbetween chapters there'll be on "Other Side". I know it will not do well in terms of views/attention, I'm not even expecting anyone to even read it honestly. It's one of those stories that I'm writing because I need to; for my own mental health. And my own interests. I just... NEED to do something away from porn/fetish material once in a while, and that's what this is.
If you made it this far, give the first chapter or so a shot. You may enjoy it. Otherwise just wait around a little longer for whatever else I attempt (or just read somebody else's work). For those of you that are still sticking around, you may notice this is a .pdf file (Or would be if IB wasn't picky about it. Regardless). That's on purpose because the formatting here is super important (you'll see why later). For those who cannot open the file type for whatever reason, I'll give you a Google Doc to try out.
