Distant thunder rumbles on,
Rain won’t let up ‘til the dawn,
But all’s cosy warm, no gloom,
In the lovely foxies’ room.

Sweet Germaine is dressed in teal,
raiments that her charms reveal,
Handsome Enwood lifts his bride,
Captivated, full of pride.

Warmth and comfort, cosy quilt,
In the home that they have built,
As they settle for the night,
All is quiet, all is right.
