Dust and ash hung in the air like a dry fog. TyxNax’s quest was looking more dire as they ventured further into singed and desolate forest. Despite the fire having burnt the trees away many years ago, bright embers still floated on the air and orange cracks glowed on blackened wood. A brown fog engulfed the landscape, like a permanent, smokey haze. The late afternoon sun may as well have already begun to set with how much light could get through the smoky haze.
Tyx made nervous murmurs and hummed quietly to himself. His fingers wiggled and shook anxiously. His twin sister had a look of determination and focus, ignoring the ashes sticking and ruining her white hair. The dry air of the forest only served to highlight how difficult their quest would be.
