Background: The Capital of Oasis was blessed by the birth of a baby boy. The boy was named Vesemir, son to Caius and Vassia. Vesemir was born with pale skin, Brown Hair and Ember Eyes. His parents were blessed with Ember eyes, for they followed the ways of the Faith of Sanctity. No one could explain how Vesemir was born with the Ember Eyes, But the people saw it as a Miracle and that he was blessed by the Gods.
Vesemir learned the ways of the Gods of Sanctity and grew up a happy loving boy. He played with the other kids and had fun, but he also spent lots of time with parents who loved him greatly. One day, Caius and Vassia left on a mission to aide a neighboring Kingdom To heal a Cave known as the Chasm of Sithis, but they never returned. Their were whispers that the Chasm of Sithis was home to vile Witches and that anyone who entered the cave was never seen again.
When news of his parents Disappearance reached the Faith, Vesemir was sad and felt he was alone. The Faith took him in and did all they could to help, but Vesemir chose to isolate himself from others. Vesemir was orphaned when he was only Four years old.
The High Priest of the Faith, Father Appius went to visit Vesemir and saw something that no could’ve possibly imagined. Using his Ember Vision, High Priest Appius saw that Vesemirs heart was shining like a thousand stars. Appius saw that the boy was truly pure, it was something that hadn’t been seen in 3,000 years.
It was for the very reason, that Appius chose to make Vesemir his Disciple. Vesemir was taken in by Father Appius. He learned Reading, Writing, Speech, History and Magic. Vesemir was taught how to use Healing, Water and Fire Magic. High Priest Appius also had Vesemir attend Prayer, Had him read and recite from the Sacred Book of Sanctity every Day.
Vesemir enjoyed spending his time with Father Appius, for he was like a father to him. However, Vesemir was still a quiet boy and didn’t like to talk much, but was open to the members of the Faith and Father Appius. As years went By, Vesemir let his hair grow long and it covered over his left eye. Vesemir didn’t really mind it.
By the time he was 16, Vesemir was a Wise and Skilled Priest. He gave comfort to those when they were sad, taught children the history of the Faith, he even spent his time Healing the sick and injured. But Despite all these Traits, Vesemir was still a quiet boy. During that same year, High Priest Appius suffered a stroke and died in his sleep.
Vesemir was sad that Father Appius was gone, but knew his Spirit would always be watching over him. After the Funeral, Vesemir was crowned as the New High Priest of The Faith and Lord of Oasis. Vesemir was well prepared when he was Little. The members of the Faith guided and Advised him in his newfound position.
Vesemir not only governed the people of Oasis, but was now Father of the Faith and would rule with Honesty and Kindess just as Father Appius raised him to be.
