I did 15 of these, for my fanfic's 15th Anniversary! I'll dump 'em all in this single upload, but let's update it over time... Think of it as a countdown...and on September 26th, my fanfic's Anniversary, the rest of the set will be posted at once!
So, the characters chosen were mostly the "main heroes" of "Sonic GeneX: Doomsday." To me, that's 14... For number 15, I picked out Rainbow the Echidna...because it'd seem weird to have her sister and husband in this set and not her. And that's the only reason it's not, like, Guard or someone.
Day 2 - Violet added. Rainbow's sister appears at her old home, Despair Castle. She's never really been drawn in her street clothes...kinda feel I should've made the skirt super wide like Rainbow if I was gonna stick to the same bases for males & females :/
Day 3 - Heather the Phoenix added. She debuted in the second story, a being created with embers from Solaris' flames. Her power has been sought by many a villain, but now she's ready to use that power to fight back against evil instead.
Day 4 - Blaze added. In Sonic GeneX: Doomsday, the denizens of the Sol Dimension were consumed by the Lost Ones while Blaze was away. She has since been on a quest to avenge her world and keep Sonic's world from suffering the same fate...
Day 5 - Fera the wolf added. She's had a rocky road, kidnapped in youth by GUN, betrayed by GUN, trained further by Despair, defeated, lost her memory, joined the Resistance, regained her memory, rebuilt Despair, and then betrayed by Despair... Whew.
Day 6 - Silver added. It's no use, I can't think of anything special to say for him. He's supporting Blaze in the current story. Also, catch Silver Noir in Miraculous Mobius, returning for season 2 next year! XD
Day 7 - Kosmo added. I made a Null Space background as a bonus, so I picked Kosmo to use it because he's actually been there. Kosmo is also the first I drew due to his very simple design. Deliberately simple, for a shapeshifter's neutral form probably should be...
Day 8 - Lucky the cat added. The protagonist of Chaos Hearts, he lost the use of his keyblade due to some time travel bs shenanigans, but don't count him out yet! His strong heart may yet lead him to a way to save the multiverse...
Day 9 - Punchy the echidna added. He's standing in any ol' Eggman base. He may be a clone of Knuckles, but he's come a long way in carving out his own life. In fact, he's been through so much, I think he was a bit low on remaining plot for Doomsday...but I did what I could with him ^^;
Day 10 - Shadow added. He thought he'd put the past behind him, but time and again the past found a way to haunt him again. In Doomsday, he takes on the ghosts of his past both literally and figuratively once and for all.
Final Day - Gemini, Copter, Knuckles, Tails and Sonic added; Plus 3-character variants.
Gemini has fought against the Lost Ones for years, and now finally she faces the final battle against their armies. She's honed her magical skills, but is it enough?
Arthur "Copter" Prower started as a clone of Tails, but I stubbornly stuck to my guns, and I'm proud of how my boy's come into his own. He's faced his share of struggles, but struggles build character. However, though he may be the main OC of the story, no OC was ever really the main character...
Knuckles learned in his own story that to guard his island, sometimes he had to be more than the island's guardian. As the Guardian of All, he now fights to defend the world from the evils that threaten it...and returns to the Master Emerald in times of peace.
Miles "Tails" Prower faced his greatest fears in the first entry of the GeneX series, and learned to stand on his own feet, capable to picking up the fight where the likes of Sonic and Shadow fail. Though he wavers now and then, each setback has made him come back stronger! Don't ever count this fox out!
Sonic has, ironically, mostly been a side character in the GeneX series. Despite that, however, he's always been there, and often turns up to save the day at the last moment. Now, he's had to make peace with the fact that the Lost One threat may be too great for him to save everyone...and despite that, he stays optimistic, ready to give his all to save as many as he can, at all costs!
Well, I hope that someone actually clicked this beyond day 1 ^^; Otherwise this whole thing was awkward... I'm off to make one more Anniversary upload!
