I know I'm behind most artists on a lot of things, including colored lines.
I hadn't really had a good way to do such a thing until now (figured out a specific tool option).

Tools? What are these things called "Tools?" (LOL!)

Bah! I use Gimp/Photoshop's Bucket and Brush tool with the option of "Darken." With most colors, that light dithering you get when colors meet lines get smoothed out lines with light edges get darkened. There are other options to do this same thing as well, I just have them trapped in my mind and explaining them would expose a Madness that only Pablo Picasso would be envy of.

But the problem is though this works for most colors, there are certain shades of blues and greens that f-up royally and turn to a darker shade and even black when most won't.

BTW - with "Lighten" option on the bucket and brush tools, you get the opposite effect. Interesting I must say.
