It had been nearly a week since The Resistance's last meeting to discuss the plan to rescue Sol and Pandora and Sunshine was finally ready to execute said plan. The hedgehog looks around at everyone as they board the shuttle that would bring them to Imperial Tower, he smiles anxiously as follows the others onto the shuttle.
"Alright everyone, remember the plan. We need to do this as carefully and quietly as possible so we don't get caught, our ultimate goal is to get the kids out of there quickly and safely, by any means necessary. If that means bringing the whole damn tower down, then so be it" He says to the group as he takes a seat beside his husband, holding the other hedgehog's hand as the shuttle takes off toward Imperial Tower.
Sunshine stares out the window of the shuttle, watching the scenery fly by below as their surroundings change from the bustling construction sites of a recovering city to an empty, dusty wasteland the closer they got to Imperial Tower.
The hedgehog squeezes his eyes shut and holds his head as a wave of dizziness sweeps over him, causing a feeling of nausea to rise up from the pit of his stomach. He groans softly and bites his lip, taking deep breaths through his nose until the dizziness and nausea pass. He had been experiencing these waves randomly throughout the last few days but had been ignoring them, believing them to be brought on by the stress of planning the rescue mission and the anticipation of reuniting with his stolen son.
The shuttle finally lands, staying a few yards away from Imperial Tower so it wouldn't be noticed by any security that may still be lingering around the area.
"Alright everyone, remember the plan. Each team will enter the tower from each of the four entrances when surveillance gives us the all clear, teams A and B will head upstairs toward the top of the tower while teams C and D will head down to the basement. I'll be leading team A while Rouge will be leading team B, Sonic will lead team C while Amy will lead team D" Sunshine explains to the group as they cautiously approach the tower
"Getting the kids out of there safely is our number one priority, it doesn't matter what you break to get to them since we're bringing down the tower anyway on our way out. Remember to contact me or Sonic as soon as you find either of the children or Infinite himself, he may still be around here somewhere since the kids are here" The hedgehog says, lowering his voice as they near the tower, having received the OK from Tails, Cream, and Charmy as they had surveyed the surrounding area from the sky.
"All clear. Alright people, let's move out!"
