Normally I take money first before doing commissions – a piece of advice I was given when I started accepting them – but I stumbled upon this well-designed ghost pony and contacted SelkYiffer over Derpibooru for the Periodic Ponies project, who asked me to provide a sketch first. The Tokyo Olympics were a major distraction and I only completed this as the latter wound down.
I assigned Ghastly Stitches to roentgenium because X-rays, Röntgen's invention, can see through things like they were ghosts; older X-ray sources also had an eerie glow in visible light.
