The underside of the jaw is a weak point in the Human skeleton, one strong blow with enough force is sure to rattle the recipient's brain inside their skull if not completely knocking them out. Mario must have a really weak glass jaw (sugar glass weak) if his baby brother who's a small, nerdy kid that likely isn't very strong was able to give him a one hit KO using only his fist and a high tech gauntlet that slightly amplifies the pain of its impact.
Ian should remember that part of being a scientist/engineer/inventor is that success comes from repeated trial and error, you're not likely to get everything thing right on the first go, so it does indeed take a bit of good luck when it comes to succeeding like this. And stop with the devil face, it's freaking me out (and possibly everyone else); it seems to run in his family... Speaking of Ian's successes and failures, has any of his failed experiments gone further than just stripping him to his undies and actually left him completely butt naked? Also, its adorable and hilarious that Troy has a little Chopper over his crotch!
