After almost a year of posting this story in pictures, I finally managed to color it and add my new design way, along with a new style of clothing that I wanted to add to them, so this is the story of how Kion gets lost in a world that is on such a small scale that neither Kion nor his friends will know of its existence and will unknowingly be causing much destruction with just their footsteps
also what better to accompany it than a good story

Kion looked around, smiling despite himself. He'd asked Makini for an adventure...but he'd expected her to just give him a mission. Opening up a portal? That was not something he even knew she could do, and he'd eagerly stepped through, expecting to find himself somewhere new, and maybe just a bit dangerous, which is why he was shocked at the sights around him.
A strange layer of fog, light and thin, hung around his head, and he waved his hand before his face, feeling a sting of some strange insect on the back, and looking to find he'd been burned, and some odd bit was sticking out of the tiny mark. Growling, curious, he pulled the bit out, and it crushed between his fingers, as he dropped it...only for his eyes to follow it down, and find a strange thing at his feet.
His paws were at the edge of an odd gray carpet like thing. He cocked an eyebrow at it curiously, seeing what he thought was motion in the strange fibers, but then raised his foot up, smirking to himself as he wriggled his toes in the air, and then brought it down, softly, slowly, feeling the crack and snap as the fibers, some kind of hard things, gave under his weight.
The thrill of it shot up his spine, and the lion nearly let his tongue loll out of his mouth like a cub, before shaking his head, and slowly looking down, lifting his foot back, and then staring at the depression of his print in the city. Finally, he stepped forward, a purr coming out of his throat as he took another step on the carpet like thing, and made his way into the distance.

The city was in shambles. The buildings were in disarray, and the people were terrified. This was a horror story writ large, and you could hear the crackle of fires, the wail of sirens, and beyond it all, the cry of voices, either calling out names, or simply towards the heavens, asking why this might happen, and what they had done to deserve this.
Then another shudder shook the city, another quake, and the sounds seemed to all fall away, leaving only that distant thunder. At first, the fear that welled inside the poor souls left in the city thought it was the return of the one who had done this to them, but the tempo of the unmistakable sound of giant footsteps was simply too fast, with too few pauses to be a single being.
Shortly after, the shadows fell over the city. Three of them. Titans one and all, like the one before. One wore a similar garb, the other two, slightly different, but their forms towered about the city, their great, majestic builds parting the clouds as they walked forward, their gaze not even turning down, instead gazing out towards the horizon.
One of them, the yellow spotted female, she raised her hands to her muzzle, cupped them, and suddenly a blast of sound echoed far and wide, loud enough to deafen those beneath her, the sheer power of her voice alone shattering glass, and in a few cases, toppling buildings that had only been swayed by the steps of the other titan, leaving a ringing to replace the noises of devastation, a dreadful silence as those below gazed up in awe and fear.

Fuli stepped forward, crying out Kion's name again, and she felt something beneath her, but did not even bother to look. No, she kept her eyes to the distant place where earth and sky met, looking for her mate, as Azaad and Rani followed behind. They were not calling out, instead their eyes were turned to this strange place they found themselves in.
Rani reached down, her claws digging into the strange stone carpet, the sharp spires digging through them, tearing gashes that exposed the earth beneath. Strangely, the stuff was solid enough to hold together, for at least a moment as she raised her palm into the air, and looked at the stuff in it, but soon it began to fall away, turning to naught but dust between her fingers.
Azaad, for his part, was merely commenting on the odd 'lightness' to the air, like being near the peak of one of the mountains. He then yelped, as something, a strange bug, stung him, and he swatted it from the air as it circled him, then smacking his palms together to crush another, before turning to Rani, who licked at the remains of the gray stuff in her palm.
The taste was...odd. The stone dust mixed with an odd, metallic flavor, and something like glass. Not enough to hurt, but enough to almost hide the taste of life. That was strange, to the lioness, who sniffed at the ground, her nostrils flaring, only for her to let loose a sneeze that scattered the dust on the ground below, as Fuli's voice called out again, attracting her attention away, even as Azaad stepped on the strange carpet, and ground more to nothing beneath his sole.

The reports had reached them. Titans walked the Earth. Not that they needed to be told from another source. Everyone in the city felt the shudder as the footfalls of the great creature grew nearer, its shadow coming to cover the sky as it came up to the city limits, and then stood there, grinning down at it, like it was enjoying the show they made for it, mobs running through the street.
Brown eyes swept the sight of the city, and the foot lifted above them, the pad dropping debris on the people below, stones and bodies, and cars, all of it raining down with such a steady rhythm that one might have been tricked into thinking it just rain, save for the sheer power of the impacts, as cars exploded against the ground, and huge chunks of buildings fell from between the wriggling toes, to drop onto the poor people below.
When he was satisfied with the build up, the paw descended, slowly enough that they could watch, but powerfully enough that the sheer pressure of its movement was pressing down into them, a building cracking, and many a life snuffed out, crushed to paste before the sole ever even came close to touching the buildings beneath its massive tread.
Then a sound, louder, like a distant explosion, it rocked the world, but more importantly, the foot froze, and then spun, pulling away so fast that it dragged a few poor souls with it, but nothing else, as the titan began to move away from the city, and leave them all in peace, as the one to whom it belonged began to march back the way it had come.

Kion saw Azaad, Rani, and most importantly Fuli standing amid a few of the strange carpets, bearing his prints from his earlier passage. He was about to say something to them, waving his arm, but then his words were cut off, as Fuli, her face lighting up, rushed to him, grabbing him in a hug, and proving her strength as she lifted him, briefly, from the ground.
The four felines stood there amid these odd things, Fuli telling Kion not to go off on his own like this, and that he had to think of the good of the kingdom now, not just his own need for excitement. Petting his wife, his claws gently scratching at her back, he apologized for his recklessness, lifting her head, and the two shared a kiss that was, if anything, far to brief.
Azaad looked at Rani, expecting a similar gesture from her, but she gave him a look that told him to let the pair have their moment. They could enjoy each other's company tonight perhaps. After all, they still needed an heir to their throne, in the same way as Kion and Fuli. The cheetah chuckled at this, and he hugged his own wife to his side.
The four thus reunited, made their way back to the place where the portal had opened, and with a step through, they were once more back in the Mijuzi's Lab, the mandrill giving them a smile, asking about the world on the other side, and getting only a few sentences of, strange carpets and stinging bugs, before the royals left her behind, and she shrugged, closing the rift...but making a note of how to open it again...just in case any of them wanted to go back.
