College years are rough. Difficult classes and tons of homework often mean late nights even when dilligent. Rorick's time was no different. As much as his classmates might rib him for it, Rorick enjoys a quality pen. A good instrument can make even the longest nights bearable, and Rorick is going to enjoy this as much as possible.
It might be cliche, but I've said before that I'm confident I was born in the wrong era. I'm in my late 20's, yet I enjoy a good bowl of pipe tobacco or cigar, have a vinyl collection, and have a nice collection of fountain pens. While our ancestors didn't get everything right, I know we've left some good things behind in the name of progress. I think fountain pens are one of those things. Oh well, to each his own, no?
