Doctor Foxworth considers this to be his most prized non-medical procedure! He bought a used 2015 Corvette Stingray Z06, and redesigned it from near scratch! 4 Ludicrous rated Tesla motors, one for each wheel, that put out an insane level of torque! A custom built computer and driving electronics! The struts are even adjustable from the dashboard! A rollcage, racing seats, and fanblade rims top off the mechanical aspects, and a matte orange paintjob makes it look absolutely stunning.

So he took a Corvette Z06 and took away everything that made it a Corvette Z06.

and it’s somehow better than a regular Z06

Seems like you get it. Top speed runs only work if you can find a decent drag strip or other straightaway. This corvette has been retuned to max out the G forces the occupants experience, along with easier drifting and tire combusting burnouts. Electric doesn't mean crappy performance. Not anymore.

At that point, it’s not a Corvette Z06 at all. By that, I mean they have completely gutted the car of everything that makes it a Corvette and converted it into something else completely that would require re-engineering the entire car. At that point, why not just make the same thing with a kit car that can be whatever you want it to be? It would be cheaper and they start out as blank canvases. Rather than take a perfectly fine Z06 and ruin it for someone that would’ve liked an original one, or even one that’s got upgrades but is only an upgraded Z06. For that matter, you would’ve been better off with a base Corvette C7 and doing all of this to that and it would’ve been better.

My point is that the Corvette Z06 was already made as a track car (that came with electronically adjustable struts from the factory). To put “Ludicrous rated” Tesla engines at all four corners, you’d need to custom fabricate the entirety of the suspension and frame to fit and hold it all. Not mentioning that all Ludicrous mode is is just a programming, one that warns you that pushing the electric powertrain like that will kill the engine, battery, and drivelines by overheating them all and putting too much stress on every component. The car would likely require full replacement of all of those engines, batteries, etc every so often. Not to mention that the top speed would still be very poor, and pushing it to such speeds would either drain the battery rapidly or destroy the engines from the immense strain. I mean, Formula E racing experience those exact issues frequently, Entire race is ending because every car ran out of power.

An original 2015 Corvette Z06 can sustain the same exact strain without hurting anything. I’ve met people who track their Z06s, some say it’s perfect the way it is. Others like to do stuff that helps it make more power. All of them don’t re-engineer what’s already a fine example of an American Supercar.

I totally respect your opinion. Remember that this is a fictional drawing though, I am allowed to have fun with a "what if" scenario. And, come on, does it not still look badass with those stingray lines?
