Consider this a sequel to the third page of the stampede image and not a sequel to the doodle of Scar and Simba I posted yesterday.
When Simba recounts the heroic story of uncle Scar courageously coming to his rescue in the stampede that took the life of the late King Mufasa - including the pack of dangerous hyena Scar fought alone to protect his brother's own son - Kovu will not mention that neither hyena nor wildebeast could have given Simba the scars that took his vision.

Hmhm, for now I think I'm gonna do some more uncle Scar and not blind Simba stuff. I kinda like the idea that as he does in canon Scar's a pretty awful leader and Simba's god given right to rule means even when he's raised by Scar he ends up being the king even if Scar holds the title.
