I always felt that Pegasus were the least sensitive to cold, of the three tribes. Between living in the clouds, literally, to being the ones who manipulate the weather (including snow), and some feather coverage to add insulation, etc.
So I figured pegasus could hand the cold better than any of the other three tribes. Although perhaps this is more than mere cold temperatures, given the quotation marks used.
