Leperinan is the guardian forest spirit of Lescht Forest, and has been for the past few centuries. Born from a tree and bound by magic to the forest that she serves, she has watched the rise and fall of kingdoms, and to the creatures that now live in the forest she is mostly considered a myth. A forest spirit can only be born after a forest fires, when a seed from an enchanted tree sprouts directly from within a fairy ring that grows on the ground of a strong magical presence. Naturally, Leperinan has been lonely.
