My Adopted Cubs

This is the third cub I adopted from Irete on DA. Allow me to introduce you all to Adair. He's a handsome cub with tan fur and a dark-brown mane and emerald-green eyes. Adair is wearing a neat green bandana around his neck that matches his eyes.

Adair was born in the western African lands, under a large oak tree. His mother was a dark tan lion with blue eyes. Adair inherited the light tan fur and emerald-green eyes from his father. He never knew his father, not even his mothers name. Adair and his mother traveled the African lands and went east.

Upon arriving at the Easter coast, they were encountered by a group of humans, who were caring for other animals. The humans were an organization who devoted their lives to protecting wildlife. Adair was approached by a male human from Rome, who padded his head. To show they could be trusted, the human tied a green bandana around his neck and Adair took a liking to it.

Adairs mother spoke to an elephant, saying the humans were taking the younglings to a safe haven in Rome. Durning their travels, Adairs mother came down with an illness and knew she didn't have long. So to protect her son, she decided to have Adair sent away to the safe haven. Even though hearing from his mother that he had to leave was heartbreaking, Adair knew it was the only way he would be safe.

After saying goodbye, Adair was put aboard the shit and was ailed east across the ocean to Rome. Adair was taken to the safe haven, along with other lion cubs, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, monkeys, giraffes and other animals.

Adair thought the Haven was amazing. He was introduced to a monkey named Bombo, who took upon himself to learn about Rome, and its cultures. As a welcoming present, Bombo gave Adair a neck ruff that the humans wore around their necks. Adair thought he looked ridiculous, especially because the ruff prevented him from seeing his legs.

Adair didn't like to wear the ruff much, but enjoyed wearing the bandana. He then learned that the animals in the safe haven were also part of a circus that performed once a week. Adair found the circus to be rather fun and exciting. Adair even became friends with a black male lion cub named Markel who had been living in the have since he was a baby. Adair and Markel became very good friends and played together all the time.

The one thing that Adair was depressed about, was that he missed his mother. He though about her all the time and imagines seeing her face in the stars. It was the only thing that gave him a piece of mind.

Even though Adair missed his mother, overtime, he found the safe haven to be his new family.
