She's a hybrid polar-grizzly bear, resulting in her redish coloured fur (whom her parents named her Amber as a result).
Personality
A natural explorer, Amber is a lover of the outdoors and adventure. She always wants to discover something special or secret, if she finds out about a mystery or a secret, she latches onto it and it becomes her obsession.
She loves the middle of nowhere where it's quiet and she's surrounded by nature and hates crowded noisy cities.
She's sometimes a bit rude and speaks her mind too easily, but generally is very friendly, helpful and generous. She is prone to mischief and as a result she sometimes goes where she isn't allowed to or finds out things she shouldn't or discovers something she shouldn't.
She still has a hard time grasping the concept of personal belongings staying personal or to not spy on people just because of her instinct to find something out.

Sometimes a bit much to handle for her parents (especially compared to her more docile and lazy brother). She has great relations with her entire family.
Her brother Kyle is 2 years older than her, but sometimes she ends up taking the lead to find out more info about things due to his age. Especially since he's a bit more computer savvy and has better access to information. He's sometimes reluctant to do so fearing he might get in trouble, but Amber always eggs him on.
World/Setting
Lives with her family in the northern city of Welbourn with a population of about 600,000, the city is located at the end of a Bay in a fjord (think Trollberg from Hilda).
She grew up in a smaller town, but ended up moving to a bigger city due to her parent's work and to escape the slight rural prejudices of being in a mixed species marriage.
She goes to the local primary school with her brother and is a member of her local Scouts organization.

She sometimes wears her amber necklace her parents got her as a baby.
