Did a design trade with a friend on Discord. They asked for a summery or surfer themed mudi. I've never heard of that dog breed before, but they're so cute! So curly and fluffy. It was an interesting challenge trying to draw her and make it clear she's curly since I'm not use to drawing that kind of fur texture much. I also tried drawing her straight on the computer instead of doing a traditional sketch and then finishing it up digitally. I'm pretty happy that the experiment went well with that.
I'm really happy with the excuse to not only draw scenery stuff, but also a sunrise at that. I love sunrises and sunsets! And I don't do landscapes nearly as much as I should. I played around with a new technique for the water and I'm happy with how it turned out.
For the lei necklace, I'm actually almost mad at how well they turned out considering I did something quick because I had no idea how I was going to do it. XD
Maybe I need to do more landscapey pets like this. People seem to like them pretty well. ^_^
