Still a bit tired from waking up so early, I ate a quick breakfast at the hotel, then grabbed my things and checked out, took a cab to the airport. I was really worried about being late and with all the procedures and things that could go wrong, I didnt want to take my chances.

So I arrived roughly an hour before the flight was even ready for check in. I waited, walked a bit around the airport, sat down, got up again, I was just itching to get on this plane. The hour seemed like forever, but finally I was able to board the plane.
When I stored all my things away and finally set down, I felt so relieved as if a huge weight had just been lifted off my shoulders.

I was finally coming home, it would just a matter of hours, until I would be there. Soon...

Okay so this picture had been in my head for quite a while. Since I'm a huge lost fan, I wanted to draw something that would take place in the Lost universe and this idea was the first that came to my mind.

I think the stories about how all of the characters first arrived on the island and the moments before that, when they were in Sidney or on the plane are some of the most interesting, because of all the different backstories.

Thats why the first season of Lost was always my favorite. I did like the rest aswell, even the ending, but because of all the mysteries and different characters, the first season in my opinion is the strongest.

So when I was drawing the picture, I thought about what kind of ideas I could include in this picture that would incorporate a connection to the Lost series. The most obvious ones are the Oceanic Air logo in the back of course. :P

I did go back and watch the first few episodes to recreate the interior of the plane as close as possible, but added the oceanic logo to make it a bit mor obvious. Also, I kinda wanted to include a little mystery of my own. Thats why you cant see whats on the piece of paper the tiger is holding. :P
So yeah, guess away where he is going, what he wants to do there and whats on that paper. Enjoy!
