Typically, bevaal don’t wear any clothing when sparring, training, working, and exercising and it’s considered socially normal. Here he would not be. He is also barefoot, which bevaal usually are.
In this drawing he is sparring with his mother Alpha Nika’maar. Lue’maar is a very high-class elite cheetah in the ruling class, the son of the ruling cheetahs called Alphas. He never particularly liked being in command, always preferring to be in the fight as he considered it fun. Lue’maar has a bit of a sadistic streak which he thinks he gets from his mother who was also quite wild in her youth. Due to this he never advanced much, sticking to commanding a small unit of soldiers and participating in special operations even after the end of the war. He is good friends with Paladin Areco of the Wolf Empire, leading him to get invited on those special operations far more often than most soldiers of his low rank.

Just like the last drawing I posted, the one that had his mother Nika’maa, it has been quite some time since I drew my character Lue’maar! Last time I drew Lue’ was this time last year and it was alongside his twin brother Ti’maar. As I mentioned in the other drawing, the drawings of Nika’maar from last week and this one of Lue’maar are a pair, and are of them sparring with each other :) Just some friendly mother-son training XD And disclaimer in case it wasn’t obvious, Lue’ here is in his mid 20s and his mother in her mid 40s.
Unlike the other drawing, which had her in her full personal armor, I think this armor that he is wearing in this is just some sparring armor they had around. And while Lue’ and Ti’ typically use spears as their main weapon, they also use a kind of kukri as their sword. So in this he is using a blunt sparring equivalent of his personal sword along with a shield :)
And for the nude version, I think it is probably more likely he would be wearing a loincloth like his mother would be. However, I wouldn’t doubt Lue’ would be more than comfortable without anything on at all XD Considering I’m sure he trains and exercises without anything on usually, I thought I’d make an alt showing that haha. Or it’s possible he was just passing by like that at home in the palace and decided to join in a spur of the moment sparring match and just threw on some armor :P

Artwork wise, I’ve actually been pretty happy with my colors lately ^^ I found a technique that I enjoy and I think it looks good in the end :) It’s been good to get to practice with it my last few drawings!
I really love how these last few drawings have looked in general :D Been really enjoying getting new art made :) -----
