Immediately I was reminded of Madame Rouge in Doomed Patrol and her fissioning into 2 selves who then fought to the death over who was to be Madame Rouge. The good one winning ,did not last,however, and the conflict ended with the Doomed Patrol being wiped out and later Beast Boy of the new Patrol destroying Madame Rouge.
