I am back! After a streak of three days without participation, I finally drew a picture again! Day 12 left me almost completely devoid of ideas, except for ones that would have been extremely complex to draw and unlikely to finish in time or an idea that would have given away a future project of mine. And on Day 13 and Day 14, I was out and on my hooves a lot and I was simply too tired and exhausted to draw when I returned home. These are my 8th Newbie Artist Training Grounds now and I am always astounded by the difficulty of drawing a picture every day.....
Anyway, I am back now and will hopefully stay for the rest. For today's prompt Draw a ponyfied version of your favorite book, game, ect / Draw a pony sharing their favorite thing with another pony, I drew Applebloom as Pikachu, Pikabloom, as seen in "Pokemon Re-enacted by Ponies". Pikabloom was a simple choice for a picture and I feel a little cheap for it that I didn't draw a more complex picture, with the vast and endless possibilities that ponifications offer. But ever since I heard that Applebloom's japanese VA is the same who voices Pikachu, I found myself fascinated by Pikabloom, so I just needed to draw her today. I was also tempted to draw the entire scene that I screenshotted for reference, but drawing four ponies and a background was sadly not doable anymore today..... I am in the mood to draw a very complex and dynamic picture for one of the next prompts, though, if I have enough time for that.
