So I wasn't supposed ot do shading with this... but I got carried away XD I was having fun. I struggled a bit thinking of how to do the water surface texture, but I had a crazy idea and it actually worked. I think I'll do a tutorial sometime.
I went a bit far with this pic But you know they had to have an overlay colour or else they would just look totally out of place. And then hey it's pretty easy for me to just erase a bit here and there to create some top lighting. a splash of ambient lighting too. I'll just do some colour corrections here and there... oh these outlines need to be fixed to work with the shading too. Oh and it looks a little flat without a few hints of drop shadow here and there, I'll just touch some in. some corrections here... Some touch ups there... The background could use some extra sand banks to push the transparency of the fins. Oh yeah and fishes! and I gotta add some seaweed too. Hmm gotta look up how to draw seaweed. No brushes? Okay I'll do it manually. Blur stuff, recolours... line blurs, bloom? Yes. More overlay effects and adjustments, line colour corrections, atmosphere overlays... Oh and god rays! Then some final colour blending...
Woops. I did shading.
XD Oh well. I had fun and learned and made a nice picture.
