It was late afternoon, some of the Islanders were gathering around the Town Hall to listen the weekly K.K Concert that happens each saturday. About half of its inhabitants were there for the occasion. Between them, the Island's Representative [name] took his seat to appreciate one of the greatest names of the industry.
[Name] had a rough week, one of his intimate friends had recently moved out to fulfill their career - they wouldn't be seeing eachother again too soon. Maybe some music would be enough to replenish him from the exhausted mental state. After a couple introductory songs to his session, K.K starts playing Stale Cupcakes - this melancholyc tune that makes you think about all the times spent together and the adventures cut short by departure.
Immersed on his thoughts, [Name] barely noticed who just sat right next to him. It was one of the locals, the bear lady called Cheri, in which he once met on near islands. She firstly moved in as an acquaintance curious to know new places, but through their daily interactions it developed into a friendship. They used to help eachother with DIY workshops, by sharing their recipes and ingredients those friends spent many afternoons projecting furniture and sharing their stories.
The time she spent around [Name] was enough to know that something was off. The red bear got his attention by calling him with a sympathetically smile on her face. Caught off guard by this gentle bear, he slightly stumbled upon his words when her greeting back. Then, Cheri immediately noticed a change of mood, now the Representative had a spark on his eyes, probably because of meeting this familiar friendly face.
As they talked during the concert, Cheri with her cheerfulness uplifted [Name]'s spirit. At one decisive moment, when they were talking about their favourite series, the bear lady struck the Representative with the following question:
- Oh, so this is your favourite one, huh? What would you think about checking some episodes together?
Then, you know what succeeds, a saturday movie night counting with snacks, drinks and the best company the world can offer. This night won't be forgotten ~

Once again, i'm sorry for the fanfic, but the slice of life aspect of the Animal Crossing franchise is one of the elements i cherish the most. English is not my main language but i'll try to improve on it.
