[Orignally posted on FA] After a whole month went by, Kuro and Ren started to get used to one's company. It's been over a month since Ren saw Kuro crying, since then the two talked about their lives and decided to take a day where they'd get to know one another.
"So," Ren started, "You've been on the streets since you were 12 ey?" Kuro nods in responce. "Mmn, rough life. Sorry to hear that." "Eh, it's whatever," Kuro said, "I've grown used to it." The two continued to eat, there wasn't many people around the cafeteria of the shelter but one guy sitting by himself. "And you?" Kuro asks.
"Oh, I've been around the streets for almost 3. At the beginning of the war, I lost my home." Ren takes a bite of his sandwich. Kuro was struck back. The war was 3 years ago when it started and is still not completely done but at a standstill for now, though it can pop off at any moment. "Wow, I am so sorry to hear that ... I've lost some friends in that war." Kuro told Ren, who was still eating a sandwich. "So have I ..." Ren ended. eventually he moved on to his mashed potatoes when he noticed Kuro didn't even get anything for himself, "Hey, you gon' get something?" "Nah, I don't feel particularly hungry at the moment." Kuro replied. "You're loss." Ren shrugged and continued to eat.
The two continued to talk for a while until eventually Ren was finished. During that time, Kuro did get himself a drink but other than that he didn't have anything else. So on and on they went having small talk over lunch until they eventually had to get back to their jobs, giving each other a farewell, Kuro and Ren parted ways. A month late but I continued the story!!!! This is a milestone for me because I absolutely S U C K at drawing humans in my opinion and so I figured a better way for me to improve is to uhh ... draw them more ... with that said! I am gonna try to draw more humans (mainly relating to my sona's backstory and anyone who commissions me). But yeah! I did this on my livestream today and I love the result even though it's not perfect. It's better than nothing. Also!!! This is what I imagined Ren to look like, a bit more laid back type of person. So I hope you like it!
