May cause diabetes!

Ho boy, this was a tough one! Wanted to do something highly experimental again, so I went for an elaborate cyclic comic with even some kind of plot! Main focus was trying to get a basic narrative across, in this case not totally based on the standard hero's journey format or anything. Had this idea when considering the cactus, and since they're in the same generation as Zoroark, that's just a natural pairing for a team, right? Right. All sugar aside, I also tried to acquire a better understanding of colour here - instead of combining a few dozen adjustment layers like I usually do, the colours were all hand-picked and mixed on the canvas instead, in a very limited amount of layers. I think it turned out quite well in some parts, especially the center and the bottom row, but a little iffy in the others - more experimentation required! Also had some fun with trying to draw the backgrounds quickly yet clearly, also with mixed success, hehe.
