A watercolor I did in about an hour... I like these kind of simple scenes, they come out better than my larger sprawling pieces in my A3 pad. As time goes on, I just like a work less and less the more washes go down on it, the more I lose my original vision of the palette and shading integrity.

I started this one in the orange hue and only deviated for basic color theory.

That version was not a scan, it was a poor cameraphone picture. It was also not finished. It may be more obvious with having the real thing in your hands, but there's marker and watercolor pencils as well on there now.

I usually edit the WIP version and update it but I've been half-dead from strain lately and I didn't remember to.

You know, I really do enjoy your water colors. They seem to have such a... unique feel.
