While spending the night in an upscale ryokan in Japan with his family during a vacation, Ootsie Snootie walks elegantly across the smooth tatami floor while dressed in traditional Japanese garb. Although he has to remove his shoes before entering tatami-matted areas and has the option of wearing his socks or a pair of slippers, Ootsie takes his socks off as well to let his bare feet breathe.
