I've been playing a lot of Shin Megami Tensei III recently on my Switch and was really excited when I saw Nue for the first time in battle! I thought about it, though, what if I tried drawing them like they were Pokémon? I want to try a few more monsters from the game down the road but here's one of my favorites!
I'm not great with designing Pokémon and also used a "Sugimori-style" tutorial from DeviantArt that's like at least 5 years old. So it is what it is lmao
It's the first main-line SMT game I've ever sat down to play, actually, and I'm enjoying it a lot! My bf keeps telling me "oh its the hardest one, its so hard, be careful its hard" and it's not been overly difficult yet. It's not the worst port ever, but some of the music is in oddly low-sounding quality (at least on my end) but I'm also playing on Switch-they may have mods for that sort of thing on PC, though. I'd recommend it, though, if you enjoy RPGs with monster collecting.

Yeah, it's a little disappointing there because you can find nice clean rips online that seem to sound better than what's in the "HD" version. Otherwise it's pretty good.
