Given that the universe is an abstract given form the observer one could say that reality is here due to us rather than we are here due to it. Yet why would the reality not serve us? Well much like biology a higher form of genetic diversity can lead to a more androgenous or rather similar degree of features being shown simply to the multitudes being washed out the the traits that have the highest degree of shares.
