Whew, this was an intensive one! Been a while since I'd drawn a (female) gryphon, and this idea for some sort of sky-high party place popped into my head not long after my last piece. For this one I pulled a bunch of stuff from the bag of tricks I hadn't used in a while, specifically gradient maps and overlay'd colours for the layout stage, and keeping the sketch lines present for the pre-painting merge! I daresay it turned out quite well, hehe. Paid special attention to keeping the colour pallete limited, and keeping the values as different as possible to highlight the front of the stage. Also took care not to go too deeply into detail for the not-center parts, especially in the wings. Alternative versions will be up shortly!
