A Valentine's Day Gift - Lucario x Ash
Waking up from his slumber in Ash's bed, a blue and black furred canine like Pokemon rubbed his eyes and sighed.
"Ah, looks like Ash hasn't woken up, yet." The Lucario said as he looked lovingly at the young adult sleeping in bed next to him. This human was Ash Ketchum, a trainer from Pallet Town who Lucario had been staying with for the past few years. It wasn't until the start of this year, however, that the trainer confessed his romantic feelings for Lucario, to which Lucario happily reciprocated, telling his trainer that he saw him as his most treasured person.
It seemed like, ever since that day, things had just gotten better and better in his life. His life with Ash had been pleasant enough prior to the confession, but things seemed even sweeter when they adventured together as a couple. It was for this reason, and many others, that Lucario had been planning to make a gift for his beloved. You see, today was Valentine's Day, and he wanted to do something for Ash to truly show him how much he cared. As Lucario climbed out of the bed, carefully placing his blanket by Ash's side, it was then that Lucario noticed something: Pikachu was already out of bed, as well. The electric mouse seemed to have a tendency to get up early so this struck Lucario as odd. Luckily, unlike Ash who couldn't understand Pikachu (and could only understand Lucario through telepathy), Lucario on the other hand was easily capable of communicating with the electric mouse, and so he figured that he would just ask Pikachu if he wanted to help him with preparing his gift.
"Ahhh... That looks like that takes care of everything!" Lucario said with a smile, as he saw Pikachu resting by his side a small pillow on the counter.
"Thanks for helping me make the box for these," Lucario said with a smile. "I made the chocolates themselves last night, but I never realized how difficult it would be to actually make a box!"
Lucario chuckled with his deep voice. "I know Ash is just gonna love this! Now we just have to wait until he awakens~"
