It's even more annoying when you tell them the truth and give alternate methods of making something better only for them to aim at you for being a hater and says that it is good still when it's evident how bad something is.

I feel like there's just a whole lotta people who can't help but focus just on the negative aspects of an idea and won't allow themselves to see the bright sides of it.

I learned a bit about psychology, and I drew a connection between this and something called "Initiative vs Guilt" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yoIUfEkc3o

Basically, maybe a lotta parents didn't let their babies explore and gain their own confidence, so now those kids doubt themselves and project at others at every turn.

If you apply this kind of framing to society, it paints a terrifying picture. All of society's problems can be traced to the crib(?)
