Gliese is the most recent addition to Mira's hands, having been picked up from an otherwise unpopulated planet. The place as little more than a desert when Mira arrived, scorch marks reaching for miles from what must've been an unparalleled explosion and extinction event soon after.

Hidden deep inside of an underground lab, protected by surprisingly advanced security protocols was Gliese who was making do with less than optimal cybernetic enhancements to keep her going. Mira saw great potential in her almost immediately and, after he destroyed every bit of defense that tried to impede him, she had little to keep herself going on this planet any further.

Mira invited her to his ship and the girl took him up on it, eventually being given her own robotics factory inside of his planetary base as well as the status of hand. She has been with him for nearly ten years now.
