Pizza and Cake
(A Lolibear Day Special)
It was the usual morning at the Kuno residence as Ayah Mistwalker opened her eyes, laying in bed. she got up, stretching only to have a small paper horn blown in her face.
"Surprise" Sakura playfully said, wearing a pointy hat as Ayah covered her ears, asking what gives and why Ayah would blow a horn right in front of her.
"It's your birthday Ayah, it's a common thing to do in America, blowing the horn again as Ayah rubbed her eyes, getting up, realizing it was her birthday. she asked if she could take a bath first to wake up as Sakura dismissed her. Ayah got up, heading to the bathroom. after her morning bath and changing into her day clothes the Panda was much more awake as she headed downstairs with Sakura.
"Happy Birthday," Mr. and Mrs. Kuno said, greeting the panda as the three of them leaned in for a hug, telling her they were making her favorite kind of cake for her birthday and Sakura planned a birthday party for her. Ayah asked if celebrating birthdays were a big event here, admitting she never had a birthday party.
"Yeah, especially for cub, I have a whole list of fun activities we can do, Mom Dad we'll be back for cake around 6," Sakura said, leading Ayah outside as she asked where they were going.
"Were spend the day together, you and me... no work " Sakura said as Ayah looked at her, asking if they got get Leslie to tag along, being her girlfriend and all made Ayah want to celebrate with her as Sakura nodded, saying if that was what she wanted. The two walked over to the Jackson house.
"This is where Leslie lives," Sakura said, knocking on the door as it opened revealing an older male in a bathroom as he rubbed his eyes, looking down at the cub.
"Hello Mr. Jackson, We're friends of Leslie, can she come out?" Sakura asked as Mr. Jackson rubbed his eyes, facing the stairs.
"Leslie, your friends are here!" he called out getting the young yeens attention as she looked downstairs, heading to the group moving around her father as she joined the group, asking what was going on as Sakura informed her it was Ayah's birthday as she smiled.
"Ayah, why didn't you tell me it was your birthday, I'd have gotten you something," The hyena said looking at them as the door closed, Leslie's father probably heading back to the TV. as the two girls hugged, Ayah thought it would be no big deal.
"So Sakura, what are your plans for her?" Leslie asked as the trio walked along, Sakura explained she wanted to take her to Captain Cheesy's for pizza, Mom and dad will be there after work and bring cake.
"Sounds like a fun day" Leslie added as the three walked down the side, Leslie saying she'd try to think of a great gift for ayah as the trio came to the restaurant. Sakura introduced Ayah to Captain Cheesy's Pizza Party Boat, the place for cub birthday parties.
"They have pizza, games, Ice Cream, music, and more as they went in where an adult wearing a brown vest with a skull and crossbones on it looked at them, asking how he may be of service. Sakura just asked for a table for three but saying more might show up as he smiled leading them to a table. where the three decided to get the buffet.
"That be 8 Credits per cub," the server said as Sakura reached into her bag handing him 24 Credits, buying a buffet which meant they could have all the Pizza and Ice Cream they wanted.
"Oh, and it's this cutie's birthday" Leslie Teased as the Pirate reached into his pocket, giving Ayah a roll of coins, saying it was her complementary roll of Birthday token, usable at any machine in the restaurant as he left the group.
"So, what do you think?" Sakura asked as Ayah looked over the tokens, themed like gold doubloons, looking at the display of games around them, a playground in the center of the restaurant, and a small arcade, not as big as Willie's but still impressive and a Pizza Buffet table.
"You wanna play games for or eat first?" Leslie asked as Ayah shrugged saying she wanted to spend these tokens she had tearing the edge of the paper tube. The trio walked to the arcade, Sakura, and Leslie, buying their own tokens as a Credit for Token exchange machine. The three approached Skeeball, each taking a lane as Ayah picked up one of the wooden balls.
"This is skee ball you roll the wooden balls, get it in a hole, and tickets come out, you exchange the tickets for a prize when you're done playing," Sakura said demonstrating as Ayah picked it up, earning tickets from Skeeball, Basketball, Whack-a-nail, among other games. While playing Skeeball an adult approached the trio.
"Excuse me, are you girls into gardening," he said, using a code phrase to solicit sex as he seemed to be a known client. Leslie looked at him, politely telling him the girls were off work and taking a personal day as he disappeared. they continued playing as they were carrying tickets along with the place, all tokens spent.
"Wow she is natural is this stuff" Leslie complimented as the three were carrying their ticket to the exchange booth as another pirate was asking what they wanted, unlike the server, this one wasn't in character. Leslie looked at the prizes, counting her tickets.
"I'll take that switchblade comb," Leslie said, handing her pile over as the pirate nodded, counting as he handed her a small cardboard box, Leslie opened it seeing a switchblade, pushing the button as a comb shot out, running it through her mohawk.
"I'll take that glow in the dark yo-yo," Sakura said, handing her tickets over as she was handed a plastic yo-yo, putting her finger around the hole, letting it drop, pulling it back up.
"And you miss," the pirate said as Ayah thought over it, saying she would take the Puzzle Cube as the employee nodded, taking her tickets and handing her a Puzzle Cube as she smiled.
After playing games the three decided to fill up on pizza as they approached the Pizza Buffet, Sakura instructed Ayah to grab a plate and use the serving tool to put the pizza on her plate, putting a few slices on her plate as Leslie did the same.
"The Pizza tastes like butt, but it's part of the experience" Leslie smiled as the three filled their plates.
"Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you like butt" Ayah flirted with Leslie, the panda patting her rear as the sat down as Sakura chuckled as Leslie let out a small giggle, muffling her mouth as they enjoyed there, munching on the cardboard-like pizza, topped with sauce and cheese.
"The Ice Cream here is much better," Sakura stated, admitting she went here for her birthday last year and favored the restaurant. Ayah admitted the pizza wasn’tt bad, which probably due to her lack of experience when it came to American food did not surprise Sakura.
"So any idea what you want for your birthday present," Leslie asked, ripping the slice of pizza with her teeth as Ayah smiled, saying she would think of something, admitted she wanted something romantic for the Yeen, putting her hand on Leslie's thigh as she perked up.
"Ohh, yeah certainly but don't you want something tangible that you can keep, oh wait I do have something" Leslie remembered, reaching into her jacket pocket pulling out a clear CD case, admitting she just bought this greatest Rock Hits CD, handing it to the Panda as she looked over it.
"I love it," Ayah said, hugging Leslie, much less the fact it was a Rock CD which she seemed to like but more so that it came from Leslie. The three spent today at Captain Cheesy's as eventually, Mr. and Mrs. Kuno walked in carrying a cake as they set it down in front of the three girls.
"Happy Birthday Ayah, this is your first party as part of the Family," Mrs. Kuno said placing the candles in the cake as Sakura instructed her on 'Happy birthday' saying when they stopped singing Ayah would blow out the candles and Make a wish.
"Don't tell anyone the wish or it won't come true" Leslie added as Mr. Kuno lit the candles leading the group in singing for the Panda. After the song Ayah made her wish, blowing out the candles. Mrs. Kuno cut up the cake, giving Ayah the first Slice as the cubs began eating, also getting some Ice Cream from the Buffet, which went well together.
"Thank you guys, for doing this, it makes me feel like a part of this family" Ayah admitted hugging the Kunos Family and Leslie joined in, saying they loved her.
