Finally a third person view, and probably the last Brettworth for a while. He's getting ready for bed and it's a warm summer night, so no pajama shirt. Our young badger friend spends lots of time looking at himself in the mirror. He's trying to figure out, "Who am I?"
Putting on a diaper has become part of his nightly routine. The first few nights he'd put it on right before going to sleep, but the diaper took some time to adjust to his body. He'd find himself fiddling around with it before getting in bed. So now he does it an hour beforehand. He doesn't mind wearing diapers around the house for a bit, they're quite comfortable.
This is the last diaper in the original pack of 10 that Aunt Luna bought for him a week and a half ago. Earlier today, she came home with two more packs of 10 teen diapers. As much as Brettworth has both accepted and even learned to like wearing them, he does look forward to not needing them anymore. Aunt Luna saw the surprised look on this face when she brought the two packs into his bedroom. "You only need to make it three more nights Brettworth. Can you do that?" she asked.
"Yeah. Own it!" he said, smiling at her. Brettworth hadn't woken up with a wet diaper in 4 days and was hoping this was almost over. But Aunt Luna remained cautious. She knew that if her nephew quit wearing diapers prematurely, then wets the bed again, the trauma would start the cycle all over. Best stick with the 7 dry nights they'd agreed on before. She also foresaw the possibility that her soft-hearted nephew would need diapers again in the near future. No kid starts at a new school without some level of stress and apprehension, and September was only six weeks away.
