I know next to nothing about MLP:FiM, and it will remain that way. :3
That said, I wanted to draw a 'deer' character with my 'Deer Brand' pencil, and needed a subject. I recalled the Bramble character from Linkara's review (I used to watch his channel regularly) and thought, 'Why not?'.
Well, having drawn this, I feel I can answer the question: 'This pencil sucks!' D:
No, really, it does. :p
Granted, it's still not as bad as the Food Lion pencils, but the 'Deer Brand' is pretty bad. The wood is popsicle-stick quality and the graphite has a great deal of clay mixed it---the line is lighter than it should be (for its grade), and its drag is scratchy ...what's worse is a tree had to die so this pencil could exist ...which I suppose is what has Bramble so ticked! XD :P :3
Also, in reference to the comic ...I feel 'Heart of the Forest' was a missed opportunity for a pun: think 'Hart of the Forest' ...I'll sit quietly now. ^^
