Ever since doing this Redwall commission I've been looking into this... genre of tiny mouse adventures. I'd finished the tv series and read the specific books they were based on and then came to almost fall in love with ghost of a tale. So have this little bit of silly fun fanart of Tilo (Ghost of a Tale), Martin and Brome (Redwall). They're just having a good laugh at possibly how dumb and easy it is to disguise yourself as and fool rats apparently.
A funny story about how why I even played Ghost Of A Tale. I... sort of knew of its existence... but not really. I had some hazy memories in my head of seeing a cute little game with a cute little mouse protagonist in development but couldn't remember it's name. I'd seen a very hd version of it... then a downgraded version... and then somehow it got on vr... and always in development... Then after the commission I remembered those hazy memories and apparently I'd mistaken 3 DIFFERENT GAMES for being the same thing. Redwall's Scout, Ghost of a Tale, and Moss (VR) IT SOUNDS stupid and ridiculous I know but like... hear me out lol I saw ghost of a tale in development as a litte stealth adventure game then I saw previews of Redwall's Scout and thought "Oh that little stealth mouse game had quite a downgrade" And THEN I saw Moss (VR) and stylistically looked kinda like Redwall's Scout but more polished and simplified and in VR and so I was like "Oh I guess it's a VR game now" God I'm so dumb XD But yeah I only figured out that these were 3 separate games after looking into Redwall and remembering that there was a game in my head that low key seemed inspired by it lol And so now I've practically finished Ghost of a Tale and I've gone through the redwall tv series and associated books and man do I have some RODENT FEVER some MOUSE MANIA And I'm gonna give a 5$ discount for smol rodent based commissions and a bigger 10$ discount for Redwall / Ghost of a Tale based commissions
