MARTEN: "It's immoral for me to sell my art, or to profit from it in any way. The only exception is my yearly eBay auction, which I make art specifically for (it gets an exception because it's done in my S/O's memory)"
...this was proceeded by a DM of concern for my psychological health. ^^
As of writing, Sashinka isn't a watcher (a fact I find interesting), but they seem to like my art well enough (I now wonder about THEIR health), so... I took it upon myself to draw their OC...
Which would've been cool if I'd bothered to tell them I was going to (I replied to their DM with nothing more than unfunny self-deprecation ...because that's what I do). :P
And this card is my attempt to draw said character in a similar style as that which is linked-to above. ^^

Hence my decision; if I'm going to make art of someone's character, I want to at least TRY to make something the recipient won't objectively despise. :P
Anyway, the 'Sashinka' character is is a representative of some (supposedly?) closed species known as citra/citras, made by this person: https://www.furaffinity.net/user/zaush

Sashinka is ...a relatively rare visitor, perhaps even more so than the elusive Miss Ice Cream (whose profile I don't even bother linking to anymore), so who knows if/when Sashinka will ever see this ACO? ^_^
The pencil I'm featuring alongside is a 'Greenbacks' model by Eagle. The Greenbacks pencil is made from recycled US currency ...this particular pencil was made from $7.33 USD ...I'm unsure how one gets $0.33 from bills unless one isn't using a whole dollar, but whatever. :p

For those who can't read it, it says,
"Contains $7.33 of recycled US money"
I dunno if other Greenbacks have different amounts on them. My guess is they don't, but I really dunno (this is the only one I have). Digressing a bit, but Eagle also had a pencil made from recycled denim (ie, blue jeans) ...I have one, and will feature it eventually (oddly, the one made from currency weighs more than the denim version).
I chose this pencil for two reasons (and these are they),
1. Both the subject and the pencil are green 2. I don't accept money for my art, but I can draw art with money! ^^
