Family: BlackStarWolf (Adopted Father), Pistol (Half-Brother)

This is Reggie. I recently adopted both him and his brother Pistol. Reggie was born a boy dog, he’s half Husky, half Rottweiler. He’s 15 years old, about 5’8” and 140Ibs. He has the fur color and appearance of a Rottweiler, but has the fluffy tail of a Husky, Bright-Brown eyes and Navy-Blue Eye Sockets.

Reggie was born on January 14th, 2006, two days before His brother was born. Reggie and Pistol have different mothers, but the same father. His records show that he and his brother were born in New Jersey and identified as siblings when they were born at the hospital. Reggies father was never in the picture and never found, and his mother left him in the hospital after he was born.

All Reggie had was Pistol and they grew up together in an orphanage. Reggie was very kindhearted, same as his brother. I had been thinking about wanting to start a family for a while, but didn’t want to marry. I’ve always seen commercials about people adopting and fostering children, and I always imagined myself with a family.

When I met Reggie and Pistol, I felt like their was a connection between us. So after meeting them, I decided in that moment to adopt them both.

Reggie Likes to do everything with Pistol. They hang out wherever they go, play games, watch tv, have lots of snacks and exercise. I kinda saw a little of myself in them. Pistol and I like to call him Reg as a nickname.

I have a pretty good feeling this is the start of a very great relationship.
