A sketch that turned into something that I wanted to complete, as a new thing from commissions.

It's nice to do art for myself as a break.

Dua and her buddy Rue the Arctozolt, two products of human science gone wrong, doing some discoveries of the past, and accidentally destroying some of it.

Inspired and based off of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon vibes.

So much great detail, Dua is lots of fun.

I'm not sure I follow why she needs the measuring tape, though?

It's mainly a reference to palaeontologists keeping detailed records and documents of the fossils they find, with sketches, photographs and measurements. Of course, you are free to interpret it how you want. :D
