Lolly and I were at the mall with our moms. I really liked going because there was a doughnut shop inside that Lolly hadn't ever been to--I decided to rectify this.
I went up to the counter and got a chocolate one, and a pink one with sprinkles on it. I took them back to our table, where Lolly was. Sitting down, I chomped into the chocolate one, while keeping the other one idle in my hand.
"Dat one's mines, right?" "Mabbr," I teased. She snickered, cheek resting in her hand. "Mouf full," she admonished. "Yoos gonna gibs me mines?" "Whassa mrgick wurg." I tired to sing-song back as best I could while taking another side out of my doughnut. She shifted into sparkly, puppy-dog eyes and asked, "Can Is has a pretty taste, little-please?" "K'f'n'," I gave in, and her doughnut out for her to bite.
I think she liked the little doughnut shop. We tried a few more before our moms came to get us and go to the next store on their list.
The shopping was boring, but the doughnuts made it worth it.
