Darkwitt notes:There is a new player in town. She is the embodiment of chaos. Those that interstect with her path end up a caricature of their former selves. Reports show she once transformed an entire town into a collection of ornate wooden chairs, only for them to transform back with no memory of the event. Footage once showed a bouncer at a club demanding she wear close toed shoes and with a flick of her wand, he was a commemorative historical statue of a cobbler from the 1800s. She loves to have fun. loves to bring joy and celebration wherever she goes, whether they consent to it or not.
I've crossed her path once before. and while having her physically force herself through my holographic transmitters was undeliably horrifying, If you know how to talk to her, she can be stimulating. She has this ability to summon familiars from her charm bracelet. whether they are former souls turned into slaves or just spectral projections of her design, I cannot say for certain. Her magic appears to have some kind of range. I am under the impression it is merely because her attentions are drawn elsewhere, which thankfully is of short supply. Scans are inconclusive on her magic, though she would not let me see her wand, and any attempts to recover or scan it were met with.... casualties. Whatever magic she is using, it transforms and alters whatever she casts totally and completely. I've yet to see something successfully counter or resist it (though she claims it's happened.) Her crystal wand changes the properties of whatever she is changing at an atomic level. At one point, while I was (recklessly) asking her pointed questions, she transformed me into a 300 page novel and read me for a few evenings in a private study converted from what was my projector room. I had no concept of time or self, as I was a book. my life story etched on every page. when I asked why she changed me back, she giggled and merely stated.
"You're not as fun as a book."
We have an....arrangement now. I research places where she can have fun, and she does favors for me from time to time.
She is a turly terrifying individual. But could do some good if nudged in the right direction. Like a river.
or a forest fire. ____________________________________
I kept imagining a psychadelic magic snake that transforms people to join her in a silly, jovial parade with but a single flick of her crystal wand. Lavenderrose then reminded me of the parade scene in paprika and I was sold on the concept.
