I can honestly respect a constitutional monarchy, so long as the monarchs are still expected to do something other than put on expensive clothes and stand around at parties. If your constitution limits the powers of the monarchy until they literally do nothing useful, that's just a very, very expensive version of career welfare trash at the bottom of the social ladder and you could easily spend what would be their salary on thousands of other families.
